Brief History
NationBuilders College of Technology is situated in the City of Asaba which is the capital of oil rich Delta State of Nigeria. It is strategically located on a hill at the western edge of the majestic River Niger. The historic River Niger is a trans-African link beginning from East Africa and down into the Atlantic Ocean. Asaba has rich culture and it forms a connector among western, eastern and northern Nigeria through the River Niger from the north and via the Asaba Niger Bridge, an east west link and a Nigeria landmark. It was founded in 1884. Asaba lies approximately 6 degrees north of the equator and about the same distance east of the meridian; about 100 miles north of where the River Niger flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The greater Asaba occupies an area of about 300 square kilometers. It maintains an average tropical temperature of 90 degrees during the dry season and an average fertile rainfall of 6 inches during the rainy season. Ibo is the native language in Asaba and neighboring towns.
NABCOTECH ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK
NationBuilders College of Technology (NABCOTECH) is a faith-based institution founded by Christ Holy Church International (a.k.a. Nation Builders) in 2018. Since 1947 when Christ Holy Church Int'l was founded, the church has established schools and training centers in villages and towns in Nigeria and Ghana... The church also supports the Good News Theological College and Seminary, an interdenominational institution of higher learning in Accra, Ghana - West Africa, which was founded in 1971. Christ Holy Church International has continued to be a church that develops the community physically, socially and spiritually; and in March 2018 Nationbuilders College of Technology (NABCOTECH), Asaba, was established.
NABCOTECH commenced academic activities in January 2020 with intake of students for three (3) - six (6) months certificate programs within Nigeria and West African nations. The accreditation process of NABCOTECH has been successfully concluded for two (2) years National Diploma Level Programs for its students. NABCOTECH is part of the overall plan of the Church Administration to expand its effort in building new manpower capacity to meet the growing dynamics of the time. The new College of Technology is expected to bridge the gap between the low and high level manpower, produce marketable middle-level manpower needs of Delta State in particular and the nation in general.
The establishment of the new College of Technology is also a highly welcomed development as it plans to present other new programs, especially Business Management, Freight & Logistics, Printing Technology, Shipping Management & Software Engr. NABCOTECH has developed a set of carefully prepared Road Map which is intended to facilitate the attainment of the objectives of the institution in its initial 25 years of operation. Subsequent reviews shall be made every ten years in line with societal and technology trends, and for quality assurance, efficiency and effectiveness.
