To qualify as a good caterer, you must know how to cook and very well too. The ability to make recipe substitutions, plan menus, prepare and deliver even large amount of food is relevant. Above this, the caterer must know how to coordinate the business, know food safety regulations, learn customer service skills, and also learn how to be flexible and creative.
